I am so happy that there are others who remember this lovely lady. I have always been in awe of how she lived her life and what a free spirit she was. I remember reading how when she was planting her wild flower field ( by hand) a couple saw her and stopped to ask what she was doing. She promptly charmed them into helping her finish the whole field. What a wonderful illustrator, story teller, and conservationalist she was. The world needs more like her.
